Audi e-tron was the most sold car in Norway in February

OFV.no published the sales numbers for passenger cars in Norway for February. The total number of cars sold was 10 346, and of this 5 145 (49.7 %) were pure electric cars (BEV).

  2. Volkswagen Golf - 760 cars (755 BEVs)

  3. Nissan Leaf - 484 (all BEVs)

  4. Mitsubishi Outlander - 395 (all PHEV)

  5. Kia Soul - 365 (all BEVs)

  6. Hyundai Kona - 350 (347 BEVs)

  7. BMW i3 - 309 (all BEVs)

  8. Renault Zoe - 262 (all BEVs)

  9. Hyundai IONIQ - 253 (237 BEVs)

  10. Volvo XC60 - 240 (231 PHEVs)

  11. Opel Ampera-e - 230 (all BEVs)

  12. Toyota rav4 - 206

As we can see, the first car on the list without a socket is Toyota rav4 in twelfth place.


1 910 plug-in hybrids were sold in February. 18.5 % market share.


68,2 % of the cars sold in Norway in February 2020 can be charged with renewable energy.
