Audi e-tron was the most sold car in Norway also in March

OFV.no published the sales numbers for passenger cars in Norway for March. The total number of cars sold was 12 451, and of this 6 966 (55,9 %) were pure electric cars (BEV).

Audi e-tron was the most sold car in Norway in January, February and March 2020

  1. Audi e-tron - 1681 cars (all BEVs)

  2. Tesla Model 3 - 998 cars (all BEVs)

  3. Volkswagen Golf - 688 cars (657 BEVs)

  4. Hyundai Kona - 530 (525 BEVs)

  5. Nissan Leaf - 518 (all BEVs)

  6. Mitsubishi Outlander - 481 (all PHEV)

  7. BMW i3 - 298 (all BEVs)

  8. Peogoth 208 - 265 (258 BEVs)

  9. Renault Zoe - 242 (all BEVs)

  10. Toyota Yaris - 253 (NOT self-charged)

As we can see, the first car on the list without a socket is Toyota Yaris in tenth place.


2 392 plug-in hybrids were sold in February. 19.2 % market share.


75.1 % of the cars sold in Norway in March 2020 can be charged with renewable energy.
