Oppdatert: 4. sep. 2021
At last, I had the time to investigate the numbers for the new car sales in Norway for August, and again they are enjoyable reading. The market share for pure electric cars (BEV) is 71.9 %, and for plug-in hybrids (PHEV), 15.8 %. In other words, 87.7 % of all new cars sold has a charging port and can run on clean electric energy.
The total number of new cars sold in July was 16 427, and in the table below, you can see the numbers for different drive trains. As you can see the market share for traditional ICE cars are now down to 7,7 %.

The most sold model was the Tesla Model Y with 1,309 cars. The second most sold car model is Ford Mustang Mach-E with 907 vehicles, and on the third, we find Tesla Model 3 with 774. The only car among the ten most sold modes not being a BEV where the Toyota RAW 4 and fourth place with 721.

I should also add that the boat with Tesla Model Ys from Shanghai did arrive on the 20th of august, which means that all the Model Ys were delivered in under ten days. Impressing speed, but some customers did complain about the delivery experience. Come alone, here is the car, here is the link to instructions, and get out of here.
